La idea nació en Junio del 2017, cuando María Tejada y Donald Régnier, luego de escuchar el extenso repertorio que el propio Luzuriaga les había enviado, decidieron hacer sus propios arreglos para voz y guitarra de una decena de sus canciones. La música fue estrenada en Quito y fue muy bien recibida.

Después del concierto, los tres artistas decidieron que era una pena haber montado un repertorio para un solo evento. Inmediatamente proyectaron un álbum entero dedicado a Luzuriaga: un CD y también varios vídeos musicales grabados en vivo, bajo el formato “ADL Sessions”. El recital de lanzamiento será en Quito, en la Casa de la Música, el sábado 30 de junio de 2018.

Atmósfera es el nuevo proyecto de Iguazú, dúo formado por la cantante ecuatoriana María Tejada y el guitarrista y productor francés Donald Régnier. Un disco dedicado a las canciones de Diego Luzuriaga, autor y compositor ecuatoriano radicado en los EEUU.

Puentes est le nouveau disque de la chanteuse équatorienne María Tejada. Enregistré en trio avec Donald Régnier (Guitares) et Stéphane Escoms (Accordéon). Il propose une rencontre entre deux cultures, deux répertoires. D’un côté, le genre emblématique de l’Equateur, le pasillo, de l’autre, la valse et la chanson françaises.

The idea was born in June 2017, when María Tejada & Donald Régnier, after listening to Luzuriaga’s extensive repertoire, decided to come up with their own arrangements for voice and guitar for ten of his songs. Their interpretations were premiered during a recital in Quito that was a resounding success.

After the concert, the three artists decided to take the collaboration further with an entire album dedicated to the compositions of Luzuriaga, along with several videos recorded live in the “ADL Sessions” style.

Below, you will find several ways of supporting this project, including an option to pre-buy Atmósfera in CD or digital format, to receive bonus tracks, signed CDs, and other discounted CDs from the ADL catalog. You can also choose to have your name included in the production credits. There’s even an option that includes a private concert by the duo at your place!
